Bring your building type.
A stairwell, apartment block or mixed layout gives the conversation a useful starting point.
UK full fibre has reached the street for millions of homes. Blocks of flats are where programmes stall. Holoflow helps your teams survey the building, plan the routes and record the work for each flat.
Openreach's full-fibre network had reached 20 million premises by October 2025, with a target of 25 million by December 2026 and an ambition of 30 million by 2030, according to Broadband Analyst. The same report notes that blocked ducts, wayleave issues and unexpected build costs can delay premises, or leave some out entirely.
Flats feel this most. In April 2025 Openreach said that more than 600,000 flats and apartments in London could miss out on full fibre, and around one million premises across the UK are in a similar position. The reason is access: the existing wayleaves that let engineers maintain copper in communal areas can't be used to install fibre, so each building needs a new agreement with a landlord who is often hard to reach. The Register reported in December 2025 that Openreach was still pressing government for a change in the law.
Once access is agreed, teams need to make good use of the visit and record enough detail for planning and installation.

Every visit to a block depends on a landlord, a managing agent or a caretaker. A survey that has to be repeated costs you another round of permissions.

Riser positions, cable routes, the entry point and equipment locations have to be right first time, because the build team will rely on them.

Landlords, funders and your own quality teams want to see what was done in each flat, with photos and a sign-off, not a single tick for the building.
Engineers use NET InHouse on a supported iPhone or iPad with LiDAR to capture a measured model. Planners can refer to it back at the office.
Lay out risers, cabling and equipment in a 3D editor, then share the plan by review link with the landlord, your planners or your contractor.
Each flat has its own status and photos, so you can see which are done and which are blocked across a whole programme.
Import buildings and jobs from a spreadsheet and add custom fields for your own references.
Generate reports in your own Word template, filled per job, exported as PDF and signed by the customer on site.
Holoflow runs on Microsoft Azure with a separate UK region, and a UK organisation's job records, files and scans are stored there. More on security.
Engineers now survey twice as many buildings a day. Reporting from September 2025 described a London pilot, with a nationwide rollout planned at that time. Read the Openreach story
